AMS Integration - Adding Parts to Quotes or Jobs

AMS is a complete barcoded solution for effective inventory management and resources to help you track where your inventory is being consumed.
The Arclight / AMS integration allows users to quickly add parts scanned out in AMS to quotes, jobs, and invoices in Arclight.

Setup
The integration between AMS and Arclight must be setup before it can be used. See "AMS Integration - Setup" for details.
Permissions
Users must have Add Parts from AMS Scan Outs to Quotes permission to add parts from AMS Scan Outs to quotes, jobs, or invoices.
Getting There
If the AMS Integration is active and the user has permission to add parts to quotes, jobs, or invoices, an option called "FROM AMS " will be shown when adding parts to a quote, job, or invoice.

Selecting a Scan Out Transaction
When you tap on the "FROM AMS " button a list of AMS scan out transactions for the last 14 days is displayed. Tap on a transaction to show the parts that were scanned out in AMS .
Selecting Parts to Add
Parts Found at Your Distributor
Parts scanned out in AMS that are found at your distributor will be displayed with an image, basic part information, quantity and current price (calculated from the latest distributor cost + margin).
These parts can be added to the parts section on the quote, job, or invoice.
Parts Not Found at Your Distributor
Parts scanned out in AMS that are not found at your distributor will be displayed with no image, a description of the part and the quantity scanned out.
These parts can be added to the miscellaneous items section on the quote, job, or invoice.
Add Prices to Miscellaneous Items
Once the parts are added as miscellaneous items you should go to the Miscellaneous Items section of the quote, job, or invoice and add prices to these items.
Replacing All Items
Choosing the option to replace all items on the quote, job , or invoice will remove all parts from the Parts and Miscellaneous items sections of the quote, job, or invoice.
Replacing All Items
Make sure you really want to replace all items before choosing this option. THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE.
