Getting There
- Select More from the Arclight main menu.
- Select Your Company Info from the More menu.
- Select Manage Permissions from the Your Company Info menu.
Staff Titles
Permissions in Arclight are assigned to staff titles. See "Manage Staff Titles & Rates" to learn more.
Company Info Permissions
Access to information specific to your company is controlled by Company Info permissions.
Permission | Controls |
---|---|
Staff | The ability to create, edit, or view staff members. |
Staff Titles & Bill Rates | The ability to create, edit or view Staff Titles & Rates. The ability to add labor to a quote. |
Manage Permissions | The ability to modify permissions for a staff title. |
Tax Rates | The ability to create, edit or view Tax Rates. |
Margin Percentage | The ability to create, edit, or view Margin Percentages |
Company Details | The ability to edit or view Company Details |
General Ledger Integration | The ability to setup or modify the settings for integrating with your General Ledger |
Terms and Conditions | The ability to create, edit or view Terms and Conditions. |
View Reports | The ability to see the Reports option on the Your Company Info menu. |
App Permissions
The activities a staff member can perform in Arclight are controlled by App Permissions.

View Pricing | The ability to view pricing on parts from the distributor |
Purchase Parts | The ability to proceed to checkout in the shopping cart |
Order History | The ability to see order history |
Change Accounts | The ability to change the distributor and account on quotes, jobs, or bundles |
Timesheet Report | The ability to see the timesheet report for all staff members |
Record Access | The ability to view quotes, jobs, invoices for all staff members |
Projects | The ability to view or manage projects The ability to view or manage notes on a project The ability to view project reports |
